No, FFXIV Address Book is a fan-created community project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD. Final Fantasy XIV and all related content are trademarks of Square Enix. We operate under their Material Usage License as a fan site.

Yes! FFXIV Address Book is completely free. You can browse all properties without an account, and creating an account to claim properties and interact with the community is also free.

Our database contains basic information about all housing plots in FFXIV (world, district, ward, plot number). This structural data is based on how housing works in the game.

The detailed information - photos, descriptions, owner names - comes from our community members who claim and update their properties. The more users contribute, the richer our directory becomes!

For browsing: No account needed! You can freely browse all properties, view photos, and read comments.

For participating: You'll need a free account to claim properties, upload photos, leave comments, save favorites, and receive notifications.

1. Click the "Sign Up" button in the navigation bar
2. Enter a username, email address, and password
3. Submit the form and you're ready to go!

Currently, usernames cannot be changed after registration. Please choose your username carefully when creating your account. If you have a compelling reason to change it, please contact us.

To delete your account, please contact us through our contact form. We'll process your request within 30 days. Note that your property claims will be released and your content may be anonymized rather than fully deleted.

2. Use the search to find your property by world, district, ward, and plot
3. Click on your property to view its page
4. Click the "Claim Property" button
5. Confirm that you own this property in FFXIV

Once claimed, you can upload photos, add descriptions, and manage the listing.

Yes! You can claim as many properties as you actually own in the game. This includes personal houses, FC houses (if you manage them), and apartments. Just make sure you only claim properties you legitimately own or manage.

If someone has incorrectly claimed a property that belongs to you, please contact us with the following information:

• The property location (world, district, ward, plot)
• Your character name and world
• Any evidence of ownership (screenshot from the game)

We'll investigate and transfer the claim to the rightful owner.

1. Go to your Dashboard
2. Find the property in your claimed properties list
3. Click "View" to go to the property page
4. Click "Unclaim Property" in the management options
5. Confirm the action

Personal Houses: Owned by an individual player character. Only the owner can decorate and modify the house.

FC (Free Company) Houses: Owned by a Free Company (guild). Usually managed by FC leaders, and may have multiple people who can decorate or access the house.

1. Make sure you've claimed the property
2. Go to the property page
3. Click "Manage Photos" in the property management section
4. Click "Upload Photo" and select your image
5. Repeat to add more photos (up to 10 per property)

• Formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP
• Max file size: 5MB per image
• Max photos: 10 photos per property
• Tip: FFXIV screenshots are usually saved as PNG in your game folder

Here are some tips for great housing photos:

• Use /gpose (Group Pose) mode for better camera control
• Hide the UI with Scroll Lock or through /gpose settings
• Try different times of day for varied lighting
• Capture both wide shots and detail shots
• Show off unique design elements and furniture arrangements
• Take exterior and interior shots for a complete tour

Favorites (Star icon): Like or appreciate a property. This contributes to the property's popularity ranking and the owner gets notified.

Bookmarks (Bookmark icon): Save a property for later. This is private - only you can see your bookmarks. Great for saving design inspiration!

Tags help categorize properties by design style, theme, or features. Examples include: "Modern", "Traditional", "Cafe", "Garden", "Library", etc.

Property owners can add tags to help others discover their designs. Visitors can browse by tags to find specific styles they're interested in.

Our leaderboard showcases popular properties in several categories:

• Most Viewed: Properties with the most page visits
• Most Liked: Properties with the most favorites
• Most Discussed: Properties with the most comments
• Recently Added: Newest properties in the directory
• Top Contributors: Users who have claimed and shared the most properties

Click "I'm Feeling Lucky" to be taken to a random property in our directory. It's a fun way to discover new designs and explore houses you might not have found through regular browsing!
